Lost Horse Mine
We did a longer hike in the middle of the day to Lost Horse Mine. The trail leads up to a small mountain where there is a nice overview of the entire national park.

Hidden Valley
On our second day in Joshua Tree, we did 2 small hikes at Hidden Valley and Barker Dam and one moderate hike up Ryan Mountain to see the sunset. Hidden Valley is a small valley enclosed within a ring of rock formations. It was blasted open in earlier times to allow for grazing.
