  Yi Jun came to America in 1994. She has now settled in the Dallas area, working on esoteric technologies such as TDMA and CDMA - the ones that make your cellular phones work. Yi Jun's husband works for American Airlines. They can fly anywhere in the world for free. Among our EFZ84'ers, Yi Jun may well be the one who have traveled the most.

  Chen Yanhua recently switched to Washington Mutual Bank, the eighth largest bank in America. She's working in the financial report department and is the first to know how well the banks does each quarter.   Sorry about the delay. the special program needed to access the secure web server at Stanford was broken for a while, and it so happens that we have a new system administrator. It took the new guy a few weeks to fix the problem.
  
  
• EFZ has a new principal!
  
  Believe or not, the Chinese teacher of "old class 2" He Xiao Wen, is now the principal of EFZ. The word is that EFZ publicly seeked a principal and He Xiao Wen applied. She got the job. Along with Jiang Jianguo, who is the Ming3 Ban4 school principal, both EFZ principals used to teach the class of 84.

  Wang Lixing is now the vice Chief of Staff for Zha Bei District. In his own word, he's gone a long way from staying at home for a year after graduation from college. Interestingly, education falls into Wang Lixing's jurisdiction. All of a sudden, Lao3 Jiang3 has a lot to talk about with Wang Lixing.

  Zhi1 Ma Kai1 Hua1 Jie2 Jie2 Gao1. That phrase summerizes Ying Rong's advertising business these days. Not only Ying Rong has a spacious CEO looking corner office, but he's now the premier partner of Beijing Advertising Corp. as well. Beijing Advertising Corp. is one of the most prestigious advertising agencies in China.

  Professor Chen Yingchi will come to Harvard for a year starting this August. He is every bit as scholarly as he was before. Only this time, Chen Yingchi is accompanied by his lovely wife who likes to play Da Guai Lu Zi.
