In early October, Li Chenjian married his "dream girl" at a church next to the beautiful Hudson River in New York city. EFZers who attended his wedding include Wang Yili, Chen Qinhe, Jing Danqin, Wang Jing, Chen Meixiao, Lu Yang and Li Junjie. Congratulations!!
By the way, Ma Ming just came off a European business trip and "enjoyed every minute of it."
I recently found some writings about Mi Qun on the net that is quite interesting. Since the website doesn't have a direct link into his page, I stole the article here. I am kind of humbled after reading what he did. As you may know Mi Qun's getting married and the wedding will be held on May 3rd, 1998, at Stanford Memorial Church.

Today is the Moon Festival. Here are some jokes I have been collecting in the past six weeks or so. Hope you get a laugh out of them at a time when you are thinking of the loved ones far away.

Amaos, Lao Tai, Wang Peiyong and I just had a dinner together and naturally we asked a lot of questions about our friends in Shanghai. I thought you'd like to know what we just heard. So here it is:
- Huang Jun now owns the biggest reseller company of air conditioning system vandor Carrier in Shanghai. He is no longer skinny.
- Another person who is no longer skinny is Ni Jie, who owns a company which provides elevator/escalator solutions to office buildings and shopping malls.
- Wang Weiya is now a marketing manager of a comsumer product company Johnson (NOT Johnson & Johnson)
- He(\/) Wei(\/) is the purchasing manager of the afore-mentioned air conditioning equipment company Carrier
- Tang Chun is a consultant in the Belgium Consulate in Shanghai, representing some big Belgium businesses
- Gu Zhihao is working for a national investment bank
- Yu Zhiwei now lives happily in Hang(/) Zhou(-) with his wife. He is a marketing manager in an import/export business. Last summer, EFZers had a reunion in Yu Zhiwei's house and played 24 hours of Ma Jiang
- Shi Runxiang is in the fire-proof brick business. He travels to places like Wu(-) Lu(\/) Mu(\) Qi(/) and contributes heavily to our national contruction and steel industry.
- The richest EFZer in Shanghai is probably Guo(-) Bao(\/) Zhong(-), who was remembered as a great volleyball player in our junior high period. He turned out to be a great money maker, too. After getting a degree in Social Relationship, he prospered along with his classmates in college. He is now a significant minority owner of a soccor club in Shanghai and also owns his construction business.
