Amao's updated contact information
- Shuang(1) Xi(3) Lin(3) Meng(2) for Jia Heng
Jia Heng will immigrate to Canada in Febuary, and more importantly, he's now a married man. Here is an excerpt of his email:
I cancelled another biz trip to ISC in SF next week as I had
resigned Intel's job and am scheduling my departure flight to
Canada that is around mid Feburary time.
And I got married in last October and my bride, named Morning
Ying Wang, works for Philips in Shanghai.
- I am back from Shanghai. Here are the people whose addresses were not on the web:
Fan Hongchun,
Gu Zhihao,
He Wei,
Huang Jiongwei,
Shi Runyang, and
Zhou Xinyu
and here are some address updates:
Huang Jun,
Jia Heng, and
Pan Li
- Our classmates in Shanghai had a party at Christmas eve and about 15 of us were present. Every one looked pretty much the same as 14 years ago except Yin Rong got a bit skinnier and Ni Jie became some what heavier.
- Dong Weihua is now in Morocco helping third world patients. I wonder how he calls himself there.
- Shi Runyang has kept getting better on different things. He almost beat me in go, bowls 200, and plays the best Majiang among us. He's now married and his wife speaks Japanese.
- Gu Zhihao is a director in the investment banking department of Shanghai Shi Yie, the investment arm of the Shanghai municipal government. He talks to people like senior directors of Netscape on join venture proposals.
- The person who often talks to Gu Zhihao's bosses is Huang Jun, whose central air conditioning system business is among the high fliers of Shanghai. Don't be fooled by his title - Deputy General Manager. As you know, Deng Xiao Ping was only the Honorary Chairman of Chinese Bridge Association.
- Wang Pei Rong has started his own computer networking company. The name of the company is Lan(3) Wei(4) - the reverse of Wei4 Lan3 (blue). I was fortunate to attend his openning ceremony. Let's hope Wang Pei Rong is again the number one in this long term race
- Yin Rong also started his advertising company, doing what he likes to do the most -- creative thinking.
- The glue of EFZ 84ers in Shanghai is Tang Chun. Many people said our classmates didn't do things together until Tang Chun came, and the Christmas party was also organized by him. Tang Chun has graciously volunteered to inform us of Shanghai's new development periodically. Let's give Tang Chun a warm round of applause!!
- I also stopped by Er Fu Zhong with Mi Qun and talked to Jiang Jian Guo and Yang Lin Xian. They are doing all right. According to Jiang Jian Guo, Er Fu Zhong's 40th birthday celebration will be held in mid October, 1998. I appologize for the wrong information I provided earlier.
