Shanghai Update
Happy new year !!
I was in Shanghai at the end of year for 3 weeks and met with our friends
in Shanghai. One of the bigger news there is that Lao Hei Nu (Wang Lei) has
moved from Sheng Zheng to Shanghai. He is now a stock "Da4 Hu4" with nice
apartments in both Sheng Zhen and Shanghai.
Lao Fat and Lao Tai are frequently traveling to Shanghai due to their
jobs. Lao Tai stays in Nan Chang (capital of Jiang Xi) a lot because Ford
has a joint venture there, and Lao Fat flies everywhere to promote his
smart card.
Yin Rong's advertisement company is doing well. He has since moved into nicer
offices.
- Back to School
Sheng Qiang and Jia Heng have quit their jobs and gong back to graduate
school, and both will graduate in year 2000.
Shen Qiang is now in the MBA program of Tulane University in Louisiana, and
Jia Heng studies for an MS in computer science in McGill Univeristy in Canada.
