OBJECTIVE:	To obtain a full time position in software development or 
		other fields related to Computer Science.

MAJOR:		Computer Science, Stanford University. Working towards BS 
		conferral in June 1996.
WORK 
EXPERIENCE:	Software Engineer:  Archimedes Project, Center for the Study of
 		Language and Information (CSLI), Stanford University.  April 
		1996-present.  Working on an eye-tracker that will enable 
		severely handicapped persons to use a computer by using a mouse
		like device that keys off where they are looking.

		Intern: NASA, Crew Vehicle Systems Research Facility (CVSRF),
 		Mountain View, CA.  June-September 1995.  Work as software
 		engineer for the Advanced Concepts Flight Simulator project.
  		Projects included conversion of RatFor to C code, building a 
		run-time debugger, and maintaining the CVSRF web page.

		Residential Computer Coordinator 1995-96.  Ujamaa House, 
		Stanford University.  Duties include maintaining the local
		computer cluster and network connections, teaching class on 
		computer literacy, and computer consulting within the 
		dormitory.
COMPUTER 
SCIENCE 
EXPERIENCE:	Strong background in C, C++, LISP, Internet Technologies 
		(TCP/IP, Java, CGI, HTML) and Assembly Languages.  
		Have programmed in both the UNIX and Macintosh environments.

		Knowledge of compilers, data structures, computer graphics, 
		artificial intelligence, computer architecture, and the 
		theoretical and mathematical foundations of Computer Science 
		related issues.	
ACTIVITIES
AND AWARDS:	Sales and Information:  Microdisc, Stanford Bookstore.Stanford,
 		CA.  January 1994-June 1995.  Worked as salesman/information
 		consultant for Apple and IBM-compatible hardware and software.

		Intern:  Barakat and Chamberlin, Inc., Oakland, CA.  June-
		September 1993.  Demand Side Management environmental consult-
		ing.  Authored draft of "Creating Markets for Energy Efficient
 		Products" that has been accepted for publication by the 
		American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE).

		Academic Advising Associate 1994-1995.  Stanford University. 
 		Educate incoming freshman on Stanford's academic resources and
 		aid in planning their majors.

		David Starr Jordan Scholar.  Stanford University 1992.
  		(Designated in top 200 applicants for admission.)
